I am very pleased to announce that the same painting shown on my December 7 blog entry (Thanksgiving) has been chosen for a new exhibit opening next Friday, February 11, 2011, from 5:30 until 8 PM. The Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe has joined with the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC to present the works of New Mexico women. 1200 works were submitted for the jury to review. The show will be displayed at the Munoz Waxman Gallery at 1050 Old Pecos Trail and will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for six weeks, beginning February 11 and closing March 20. I am very proud to be included in this exhibit and hope you will be able to visit during the show.
