Plan for HIGH ROAD NEW MEXICO STUDIO TOUR, 2010

If you have never driven up (or down) the High Road to Taos for fall studio tour, you are missing one of the greatest art adventures. During the last two weekends each September, artists open their homes and studios to visitors from everywhere.  The road winds through the tiny villages, centuries old, part of the original Spanish Land Grants.  The artists are painters, jewelers, woodcarvers, retablo painters, printmakers, potters and weavers, both traditional and contemporary.
Although the 2009 tour season has ended, plan your vacation for next fall around those last 2 weeks in September so you won't miss next year's.  Bookmark the website so you can stay abreast of what's coming up: http://highroadnewmexico.com.  And don't forget to visit my studio, on Plaza Rd. Chamisal, where you also may tour my century old adobe home.  In addition to High Road Tour, next year my studio will be on tour the first two weekends in September with TAO, the Taos Artist Organization, for our third annual tour.
